Hegemony is the power tool that one major group exerts on the other minor or subgroups existed in the society. Hegemony in the social structure reduces to be the color biased and the gender-biased one. Antonio Gramsci, the Marxist Philosopher, stressed the facts on cultural hegemony. The criticality of the class-based society because of the capitalist power-mongering standpoint prevails and deeply embedded in the social structure. Gramsci’s theory brought a real side in the capitalist world that the dominant culture soothingly becomes the normal one and it merges with the television world and the prevalence of the social differences in media and advertisement world stirred the very basic nature of the social structure.
